Protected landscape area Jizerské hory [ Protected Landscape Area ]Mountain area where besides large areas of spruce forest seriously damaged by acid rain (today being renovated) valuable mountain peat-bog areas are found. On northern slopes a vast complex of beech forests has been preserved.
