Protected landscape area Labské pískovce [ Protected Landscape Area ]This strongly varied area represents, together with neighbouring Sächsische Schweiz National Park, the most extensive sandstone area in Europe. Deep, enclosed valleys with temperature inversion enable the existence of cool-loving plant and animal species, even at these low altitudes.
