Žerotín Castle [ Castle - chateau ]The building of the castle was started by Jan of Pernštejn in 1538. In the middle of the 18th century the Renaissance castle was rebuilt in the baroque style. It had been the seat of the Žerotín stock until 1815. Then it belonged to the Kinský stock and from 1885 to 1909 the castle served as a women’s prison.
