Urban monuments preservation area Jičín [ Městská památková rezervace ]The town of Albrecht of Wallenstein, generalissimo of the Imperial Austrian armies.
The first written mentions of the town date to 1293. A number of monuments are to be found in the historic centre: the Wallenstein chateau, the Valdice Gate, the Jesuit college, St James´ Church, St Ignatius´ Church and the Jewish synagogue. LOCATION
