Urban monuments preservation area Slavonice [ Městská památková rezervace ]The town was founded around 1450.
This historic centre includes the square, with a unique collection of late Gothic and Renaissance houses which have high gables and facades with sgraffito decoration. The ground floors of several houses preserve Late Gothic vaulted ceilings. Other monuments include the Gothic defences, the church with the town´s towers, and the museum. LOCATION
